Caroline and Ben's Wedding | Chantilly Virginia Photographer

Here are the last of the pictures from my sister's wedding.

The sword arch was easily the best element of the entire wedding...well...maybe the entrance to Enter Sandman was slightly better...

My cousin's sweet daughter. LOVE the bow.

Caroline and Benjamin playing kissy face.

Gotta love the first dance. You could really see in their eyes how much they loved each other.

Papa and Caroline dancing.

Benjamin and his sweet mother. I cried A LOT at the wedding, but I think she wins on the crying contest. It was really cute.

Lots of guests!

Hottie Bridesmaids and Hunky Groomsmen.

The cake was absolutely stunning.

The garter toss...didn't exactly go as we'd planned. We were PLANNING on Holly and Arthur catching. (Arthur is Ben's twin) Holly and Arthur are engaged to be married next year.

I had SO much fun and love my baby sister and new brother! Welcome to the family Benjamin!

TOTALLY interesting technique

I was checking out a couple of local photographer's blogs today, and I found this one that I knew I needed to share. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to give it a shot later today. Enjoy!

UPDATE: I TRIED IT!!! See the results below...

Baby Sister gave me this ring for being her matron of honor in her wedding. This is as close in as I could get the normal way...

And here's how close you can get with the above technique. She is right it is kind of tricky. You have to hold the camera really still. I just love the detail on the side of the ring. It's gorgeous.

I planted a mini-garden in my backyard and here is my first tomato bud!!!

Again, before the new technique...

And after. SO cool.

A strawberry bud. I can't WAIT until I have a bunch of strawberries to eat!

Laura G Boudoir Session | Washington DC Boudoir Photographer

I am pleased to present to you... Laura G's Boudoir session.

This girl is GORGEOUS!!

This was definitely my favorite shot of the day. How hot is she!?

Laura, thank you SO much for letting me photograph you. I had a fantastic time!!

And the rest of the photos I took? Well, those are for her husband's eyes only. :)

Caroline and Ben's Wedding Prep | Chantilly Virginia Photographer

Hair Stylist: Nahid at Sana's Hair Design
Ceremony Location: Ox Hill Baptist Church
Reception Location: Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks

Caroline started the day by getting her hair done.

Isn't it gorgeous?!

She looks like a princess!

Then, the girls came over to freshen up their makeup and get ready to head to the church.

When we got to the church, I took a few photos of the guys.

Jordan, the best man, had his boutonniere pinned on first.

While I was taking some photos of the guys, one of the girls ran to get me and said, Caroline needs you NOW! She needs you to take pictures of her putting her dress on. So I ran upstairs (like the good sister I am) and got a few shots.

LOVE this series. Click on it to see the pictures a bit larger.

I have the most beautiful sister ever.

Courtney had a great idea. To get rid of Caroline's nerves, Courtney made Caroline play sudoku on her iphone. It worked quite well!

The florist did a FANTASTIC job. The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous!

These are some of Caroline's bridesmaids.

Caroline's Bridal Portraits | Alexandria Virginia Photographer

Now that my baby sister is married off, I can show you the bridal portraits of her we took last month. She was the most BEAUTIFUL bride I've ever seen and the wedding was TONS of fun!

Love this one.

This one might be my favorite.

My sister and law and I both have bridal portraits that look like this, so my mom requested this one for her collection.

Her future's so bright, she needs shades.

LOVE the pink feather boa!

And here's where she really turned her model on. :-P

My mom owns about 234923409 pairs of pearl necklaces, so we decided to put them to good use for this shot.

Good night she's hot.

Caroline wore these blue shoes for the reception. SUCH a fun pop of color.

LOOK at those eyes. Homegirl is STUNNING.

After about 20 people drove by whooping and hollering because my sister is so hot.

One of my faves of the day!
