Nicole's wedding | Northern Virginia Photographer

This past weekend, I attended my good friend, Nicole's, wedding. Nicole and I have become fast friends while working together. She's one of those friends that you INSTANTLY click with. From the very beginning, I've been able to be myself around her. I was so excited to see her get married to Chris. The wedding was gorgeous, but most stunning was Nicole. She looked FANTASTIC. And so incredibly happy. Congratulations y'all!!!

I need YOUR help!!!!

Recently, I entered a contest my local radio station put on. The ultimate winner of the contest will get front row tickets to WMZQfest, backstage passes, a digital SLR camera, and will be the OFFICIAL WMZQfest photographer.

Needless to say, I'd really LOVE to win. So, I'm asking for your help. I would really appreciate it if you would vote for my photo. I've included the link below. They do require you to register, but they don't send you any spam at all. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out! :) And if I win, I'll have some mighty ridiculous pictures of some great country stars.

Jen and Steve | Alexandria Virginia Family Photography

Here are the photos from Jen and Steve's photoshoot.

Recently, I've been playing around with storyboard templates. I like the way they let you really tell a story with the pictures. (Hence the name storyboard. duh.)
They were so clearly in love. It was really sweet.

This is probably one of my favorites from the entire session. I drove past this building before our session and it stuck out in my mind, so I'm glad we got a few fun pictures in front of it.

Jen told me that she and Steve get photographs made every year for their anniversary. What a FANTASTIC tradition.

This is why I love Alexandria so much. I LOVE being near the water.

This is my absolute favorite storyboard. I loved the brick wall as a backdrop.

They were so patient with me as I made them walk all over Old Town.

I've also been playing around with textures a bit. So here's a quick before and after.

And after: (If you click on the picture, it's easier to see the texture.)

Thank you SO much, Jen and Steve. You were great sports and I can't wait to hang out again soon!

Jen and Steve Preview | Alexandria Virginia Family Photographer

Today, I took a quick trip to Old Town Alexandria to take some photos of my friends, Jen and Steve. We met them at church. Jen and Steve are super fun and we can't wait to get to know them better. Here's a quick preview from our session today. I should have the rest up relatively soon!

Turner Family Part Two | Northern Virginia Family Photographer

Here's a few of sweet Luke.

LOVE this one.

James has a very sneaky look in his eyes.

John had an awesome idea! Climb into a tree for some pictures!!

John: Uh oh. Now how do I get down?

Teaching James how to climb his first tree.

Luke-er-dee-do needed a little snack.

So happy!

Mama Paige stealing some kisses from baby Luke.

John is a great daddy. He is so patient and you can tell he really loves his boys.

Turner Family Part One | Northern Virginia Family Photographer

Here's part one of two of the Turner Family Photoshoot! I had SO much fun with them and think they have the cutest family ever.

James is such a handsome little man.

James LOVED flying up in the air.

Doesn't Luke have the sweetest face?

This is one of my favorites. James kept getting up from Daddy's lap and wanted to get super close to the camera.

SUPER close.

Mama and her two sweet boys.

I had to get a few pictures of the cherry blossoms in!

Just look at that sweet sweet smile. Luke is the happiest baby you will ever meet.

Aren't they a sweet family?!
